Vancouver based DJ and producer Patrik Cure (aka D’Cure) is the founder of Aufect Recordings and one half of the duo Greazus with his partner HxdB, who are the culmination of nearly 2 combined decades of experience producing music, DJing, running record labels and promoting underground shows in Vancouver.

His solo productions are heavily influenced by 90s rave and hip-hop culture, a direct product of growing up on a healthy diet of Detroit electro and techno, ghettotech and jungle.

Patrik’s inquisitive nature is reflected on his own imprint, which has featured a wide range of releases that blur the lines between footwork, jungle and halftime. Moving skilfully through a spread of BPMs, he is in his element as a technical DJ. His sets could be described as dance floor friendly, upbeat as well as unpredictable.

Despite Patrik’s long term involvement in the music scene, he has not put forward a large body of solo work until now. We are proud to present his debut full length EP. 4 low end electro tracks, and a remix from multi-genre king, Sinistarr. These tracks show how versatile of a producer Patrik Cure can be. Staying true to Club Designs roots, this EP will be sure to please the dedicated electro fans, as well as resonate in the the hybrid 150bpm+ realm.
